The concept of this bathroom would be easy to duplicate with a spring green paint color and a fun shower curtain. Here's a very similiar curtain I found on Shower-Curtains.org (the Freedonia):

I also came across some other choices that would achieve the same bright, airy effect:

Target Home Botanical shower curtain (only $17!)

Pottery Barn Bethany shower curtain

Target Paradise Blue shower curtain

Crate & Barrel Marimekko Madison shower curtain (Love this pattern in their bedding, too!)

Etsy seller AmysPinPals
And, as long as we're on the subject of bathrooms, I just want to make sure all of my readers know never to buy a matching bathroom set like this:

Matching towels, fine. But, matching everything from the shower curtain to the toothbrush holder to the toilet seat cover is a no-no. (You know this, right?)
And, whatever you do, never ever buy a matching set with pictures of wildlife on it.

Happy Weekend!

Such a bright and cheery bathroom! I love that color green. :) Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteEmily,
ReplyDeleteLove, love, LOVE that color with white, though I have to tell you that my very first thought was..."man, I'd hate to have to bend over to get a towel out all the time". Isn't that silly?
And A-MEN to the matchy-matchy sets. Takes the fun out of finding eclectic things to put stuff in.
Have a great weekend!!
I love pretty shower curtains...only problem is, my bathroom has a shower stall with doors and there's no way for me to use one =(
ReplyDeleteLove these inspiration images though!
You inspire me everyday girl! Now I have to go clean my bathroom and go buy all new stuff for it! Hope your having a great day! XOXO
ReplyDeleteI think the first shower curtain you show that you call 'similar' is actually the exact same as in the gorgeous bathroom you featured! The lighting is just different in the two images... but it's definitely the same pattern. Great find! It's beautiful! This would make a darling bathroom for little girls... which, don't you have two of?? hah Perfect! Or am I way off..?
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Alaina
love that color -- it is great for a bathroom! happy friday!
ReplyDeletehahaha, the moose bathroom set made me laugh it is so awful. love the first bathroom you posted though, very pretty!
ReplyDeletenow i know!!!!!! but i love moose!!!!
ReplyDeletegreat post!
Green is my favorite color....I just painted the kids bathroom taupe (well, brown teepee to be exact...I though that was a fitting name for a bathroom color - ha!) but now I'm thinking I should just break loose and paint it this green color!! Everything else in there is white, so that would be really pretty.
ReplyDeleteYou know my mother-in-law would just die if she read the last part of your post, because her bathrooms are angels, angels everywhere, right down to her lace-trimmed angel hand towels. Lest I forget the toilet rugs....... :)
Love the bathroom!
ReplyDeleteGreat post. Love that bathroom. I actually just did a post on my "ugly" bathroom. Your picture is good inspiration for me!
